Information you choose to provide
We collect account details such as your name, email address, and password hash when you register. If you subscribe, our payment processor provides billing identifiers and subscription status. We do not receive or store your full payment card number.
Signed-in members may save product calculations, material costs, sales channel profiles, and calculator defaults. This information is stored so it can be displayed in the member's account.
Free calculator data
The free calculator performs its calculations in your browser. Unsaved product names, costs, time estimates, and pricing results are not sent to our server.
Technical and security data
Our server may record an IP address, browser details, requested pages, and error information in standard hosting logs. We also use temporary security records to limit repeated login, registration, password reset, and contact form attempts.
How information is used
We use information to provide accounts and saved tools, process subscription status, respond to support requests, secure the service, diagnose errors, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Service providers
Stripe processes subscription payments and provides its own privacy terms. Our web host stores the site and database. Email may pass through the hosting provider's mail service.
Cookies
Worth The Make uses a session cookie for sign-in, security, and account features. The product recommendation cards do not load scripts, images, prices, or cookies from Amazon. If you follow an affiliate link, you leave Worth The Make and Amazon's privacy and cookie practices apply.
Affiliate links
Some product recommendations are Amazon affiliate links. Worth The Make may earn a commission from a qualifying purchase without changing the price you pay. Affiliate links are identified near the recommendations.
Data retention and choices
Account and saved product data is kept while the account remains open and as reasonably needed for security, billing, and legal records. You may request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us. Some transaction records may need to be retained for legal or accounting purposes.
Children
The service is intended for adults running or planning a business and is not directed to children under 13.
